How do I wash my support and how often should it be washed?

Most braces and sleeves/supports are best cleaned by hand-washing. Many supports come with specific cleaning instructions, so be sure to follow them. Handwash in cold or cool water using a mild soap or detergent. Be sure to avoid any cleaning solutions with additives (such as fabric softener, stain remover, etc.), bleach, woolite and vinegar. If you wear the support or brace (for a medical reason) daily, clean it every 4-6 days. If wearing the brace during exercise, sports or physical activites, we recommend washing it every 2-3 days/wears. Most supports/sleeves and braces should be air dried and not placed in a clothes dryer.

Can I wear this in the water while swimming?

Many of the products we sell are not designed to be submerged in water for activities such as swimming or bathing. The materials are typically sensitive to chemicals, and the material can become water logged or stretched out, thereby shortening the lifespan or ruining the fit and support of the brace.
