Joint Pain

Joint pain is the discomfort, pain, or inflammation of any joint, including cartilage, bone, tendons, and muscles.

Joint pain can be mild and cause soreness after certain activities or it can be severe and be extremely painful.

Causes of Joint Pain

There are a number of causes for joint pain. You can have joint pain from certain medical conditions such as cancer, lupus, tendonitis, arthritis, and even after a broken bone or sprained ligament. You can even get joint pain after sitting in the car too long or playing sports.

Stubborn joint pain could be the first sign of osteoarthritis (wear and tear of the joints).
